The Knotty Girl Team of volunteers helped support the WineRun5K event at local family owned business Secret Garden Winery & Farm. The KG Team was able to share Knotty Girl's life saving mission at the event and the Secret Garden Winery made a generous donation to help KG continue RACING to educate and save lives through the early detection of breast cancer!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the local non-profit Knotty Girl Loves, Inc. is bringing a clinical specialist to speak about breast health at the all women’s networking group, Lunch Club Wednesday. The group will meet Wednesday, October 9th at the Sebring Elks Lodge. Doors open at 11:00am and the program will begin promptly at Noon. The cost of lunch is $12 and will include access to several local women in business showcases and the presentation by Knotty Girl and Amanda Lucero, ARNP-C. Women of all ages are invited to attend and are encouraged to wear pink.

Myers on Sunday October 14 beginning at Noon. Think pink! Come dressed in your best “pink” attire for free photos and best dressed contests. The entire store will be decked out in pink including the employees!
October 10th, 2018 - Lunch Club Wednesday in Sebring, FL
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the local non-profit Knotty Girl Loves, Inc. has teamed up with the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation to bring a clinical specialist to speak about breast health at the all women’s networking group, Lunch Club Wednesday. The group will meet Wednesday, October 10th at the Sebring Elks Lodge. Doors open at 11:30am and the program will begin promptly at Noon. The cost of lunch is $12 and will include access to several local women in business showcases and the presentation by Knotty Girl and Amanda Lucero, ARNP-C. Women of all ages are invited to attend and are encouraged to wear pink.

Knotty Girl hosted a THIRD weekend retreat for Breast Cancer survivors Labor Day weekend in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. The theme of the weekend is "Reconnect, Relax and Exhale!" Survivors will participate in activities that will help build team skills, comradery, promote health, wellness and connectivity. The mountains, water, fresh air and soothing environment will leave the survivors feeling refreshed and reconnected.

Knotty Girl was the keynote speaker at a Lake Placid High School Lunch 'n Learn where students and staff came to the media center to enjoy their lunch and a presentation about Knotty Girl, the importance of monthly breast self-exams, early detection and breast cancer awareness. After the presentation there was a question and answer session with the KG Team.
